The MYP Community Project

The Community Project is the MYP capstone for every 8th grader at GPS. Students identify a genuine community need, design and execute a service project, and present their process and impact to peers, teachers, and parents.

Past projects have addressed environmental sustainability, food insecurity, literacy programs, and community wellness , giving students real-world experience in leadership and service before they graduate.
