A Quality Education is a Lifetime Investment

At Granada Preparatory School, we prepare our students for their future. Our mission is to teach our students to Think Creatively, Act Responsibly and Build Community and to provide an ideal environment in which our students will learn, grow, and thrive. We understand that the cost of attending an independent school is a significant investment in your child’s educational future. A GPS education is worth it.

We offer:

An inquiry-based approach that harnesses the natural curiosity of children.

An emphasis on the mastery of concepts and skills over rote memorization and the acquisition of facts.

An international perspective that prepares students to take their place in our global society.

Regular opportunities to reflect on the learning process so students learn how they learn best

Engaging classes in the core academic subjects and Spanish, music, art, technology, library, and physical education.

Extracurricular opportunities for sports, competitive clubs, and theater.

Skillful, passionate teachers to help our students succeed.

Following in the tradition of CHA, the first International Baccalaureate school in the San Fernando Valley for children up to 8th grade, we take pride in helping every one of our students grow into a confident and principled citizen.
