Student Life at GPS
At GPS, student life is centered on supporting each child's individual potential within a cohesive community. We acknowledge that an engaging environment is important for students to develop. With various avenues for exploration, every GPS student is seen as an individual with diverse interests and talents. We focus on their experiences, promoting personalized learning and participation in activities that aid in their overall development.

11:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. - Indoor centers (small group lessons with teacher, art, dress up, blocks)
11:50 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Clean up, goodbyes for half day students
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch
1:00 - 2:15 p.m. - Nap/quiet time or centers for non-nappers

Lunch at GPS
Lunch can be either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather
Students can bring lunch from home or order from our school hot lunch provider
GPS takes special care to ensure that provisions are made to ensure student health and safety with regards to food allergies
Extended Day Care
For parents seeking a safe, happy, and enriching environment for their children before and after school hours, Granada Preparatory School offers Extended Day Care (EDC) during the following times:
Morning EDC from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m.
Afternoon EDC from 2:15 to 6:00 p.m.
Our EDC program is a stimulating, safe, and supportive program for student ages 2 to 14.
Students attending EDC have opportunities to socialize with friends and get help with their homework. Snacks are offered for those that stay past 4:00 pm.
Parents can have their children attend EDC on an ad hoc hourly basis or sign up for an entire month or trimester.
